Today I would like to recommend a wonderful book to you. It is entitled “How Will You Measure Your Life?” The author is the late great innovation expert, professor, business consultant and thought leader, Clayton Christensen.

He offers up so many insights, but early on he states,

“I want you to be able to experience that feeling—to wake up every morning thinking how lucky you are to be doing what you’re doing.”

I am grateful for many things in my life, including my faith, family, friends, experiences, challenges, health and more. I am also grateful and blessed by the love and passion for what I do, the lives I can influence for good, and the fulfillment it brings in my life.

As I think of the countless stories of lives well-lived in this world, I want to share with you a thought that I close one of my Keynotes with:

“Measure your life not only by what you have accomplished but also by what you have overcome.”—Norm Boaz
